Welcome

The YWCA is an international organisation of women and for women, which promotes social and economic change and is present in 125 countries worldwide.

Operating since 1874, Glasgow YWCA is an independent branch which aims to challenge inequalities for women in Glasgow - particularly those under 30 - and enable them to fully participate in society. The unique and diverse population of Glasgow has driven us to tailor our services to respond effectively to these women's needs.

We provide a supportive environment for women and families to take part in learning opportunities and develop their chance of a better future whilst gaining a sense of belonging and self-worth. This might include anything from developing literacy skills or learning to use a computer, to taking part in relaxation, dance or art classes.

We hope you find everything you need on this website but if you have any questions or comments or would like to know more about Glasgow YWCA's services please do not hesitate to contact us.
